G VAL MAXIMIANVS CAES, laureate head of Galerius right / GENIO POPVLI ROMANI, Genius, wearing modius, standing left, holding patera and cornucopiae; A in left field; LP in exergue. RIC–; cf. Bastien, Lyon 96 and pl. VII, 56c (broken reverse legend). Apparently unpublished and the variant cited by Bastien known only from a single specimen. Extremely rare thus. Dark brown patina. Nearly extremely fine/very fine
