VIRTVS PR–OBI AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Probus left, holding shield decorated with floral design and spear / IOVI CONSER-VAT, Probus, holding eagle-tipped scepter, standing right with knees slightly bent, receiving globe from Jupiter standing left, holding scepter; VXXT in exergue. RIC 388. An exceptional example, well-struck in high relief. Even gray tone over underlying silver. Good extremely fine/extremely fine and surely among the very best of the type
