Terms Of Sale

  1. All items offered are guaranteed to be genuine and correctly attributed. Grading and other descriptions of condition or rarity represent the personal opinion of the cataloguer and no warranty is implied therein.
  2. All items purchased will be sent by insured registered mail unless Federal Express is specifically requested.
    1. Registered mail: Please include $20 for postage, insurance and handling.
    2. Federal Express (P.O. boxes not allowed): Please include $45 if shipment is to be made to a U.S. address and $75 if outside the United States.
  3. Items purchased and delivered in the State of California are subject to sales tax at the applicable rate (this will vary according to the tax district where the item is delivered). However, total coin purchases at or exceeding $1,500 are exempt from this tax, as are purchases made by those who have filed a valid California resale permit with Octavio & Associates.
  4. Payment must be made and funds cleared prior to the shipment of any item purchased.
  5. Postage, handling and insurance are at the expense of the buyer and all related charges will be added to the invoices for all lots delivered by mail. Foreign purchasers are advised to comply with all customs regulations. Octavio & Associates declines any responsibility for consequences arising from contravention of such regulations.
  6. We accept payment by Paypal. Money orders should be in USD only and made payable to Octavio & Associates.
  7. Any item may be returned within seven (7) days from date of receipt if not entirely satisfactory, provided it is returned in precisely the same condition as when shipped by Octavio & Associates.
  8. Any return of an item for reason of authenticity must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt and should be accompanied by appropriate documentation supporting buyer’s claim that the item is not authentic.
  9. Title does not pass until lots are paid in full.
